My specialty is finding homes for first time buyers, people with pets, empty nesters and seniors who need easily accessible homes all with the goal of keeping it affordable to own. When you rent, you’re buying a house for someone else, and we don’t want to do that!

I designed and built 2 custom homes. I found and purchased the vacant land, pulled permits, did the general contracting and much of the labor. That means I know houses inside and out, how they’re made and what the benefits are of each type. I have a good idea how the plumbing, electrical and HVAC are laid out in most homes along with utility connections and systems.

Later, I flipped three older homes in Manatee, Hillsborough and Pinellas counties, doing much of the labor myself and gaining equity along the way. I’ve been where you are: trying to make this big financial decision and doing my best to get it right. I understand how stressful it can all be.

I also was a Field Engineer for utility companies for 18 years. A lot of it was getting facilities in place for new construction along with getting facilities out of the way of road widening. Then I found that I absolutely loved drawing land surveys, dividing up land into subdivision plats, condo plats, and creating easements for various purposes but mostly Boundary Surveys for property purchase. In the coastal counties, I filled out hundreds of FEMA Elevation Certificates for flood insurance. I learned how government works and how to find out what activities are allowed in different Zoning Districts. I moved to Ocala for the clean air and natural beauty.

My passions are sharing my black lab therapy dog with the staff, patients and visitors at HCA Florida Ocala Hospital. Their smiles and gratitude are so very rewarding. We hike daily at the Greenway Trailhead Park and meet lots of friendly people along the way. Being out in nature and taking pictures of the beautiful foliage and wildlife reminds me to be thankful for the natural beauty around us.
